Cascade Sportsbook General Rules

1. All wagers accepted by Cascade Sportsbook are subject to these rules.

2. Cascade reserves the right to refuse, restrict, cancel or limit any wager.

3. Cascade reserves the right to cancel any wager made on an obviously "bad" line or a wager made after an event has started.

4. Wagers are graded only after the contest is final.

5. Cascade reserves the right to refuse registration, and to terminate or suspend the customer's account at any time.

6. Any use of our Web site and information other than for personal entertainment will be grounds for termination of the customer's account.

7. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to place wagers.

8. In all futures wagering (for example, total season wins, Super Bowl winner, etc.), the winner as determined by the League Commissioner will also be declared the winner for betting purposes except when the minimum number of games required for the future to have 'action' has not been completed.

9. Las Vegas rules will apply to any rule or wager not covered by the rules and regulations herein.

10. Minimum and maximum wager amounts on all sporting events will be determined by Cascade and are subject to change without prior written notice. Cascade also reserves the right to adjust limits on individual accounts as well.

11. Cascade relies entirely upon the information provided by the customer in the application in order to establish a wagering account. Cascade is not responsible for any form of misrepresentation by the customer.

12. All customer information is confidential. All calls are recorded and held for disputes.

13. In the event funds are credited to a customer's account in error, it is vital that the customer notifies Cascade of the aforesaid error without delay. Unless otherwise notified by Cascade, any transactions resulting from the error shall be void.

14. All rules, regulations and payoffs are subject to change without prior notice.

CALL CENTER

1. The minimum amount for each wager is $25. However, minimum and maximum wager limits on all sporting events are subject to change without prior notice.

2. All customers must confirm their wagers at the end of every call by stating their account number and password. The customer is responsible to listen to the readback, and correct the clerk in case of an error before confirming the plays.

3. READBACKS ARE FINAL. If for any reason the phone gets cut off, it is the customer's responsibility to call back and confirm those plays.

** The customer is responsible to listen to the readback and correct the clerk in case of a mistake. After the clerk gives the readback, the customer must confirm the plays by stating the account number and password.

**Again, after placing the wagers, the customer must listen to the readback carefully and correct any mistakes. READBACKS ARE FINAL.

4. No wagers can be cancelled once the customer confirms them and the phone call is over. The only way a bet can be cancelled is by betting on the other side of the game.

5. All disputes will be resolved by the readback from the recorded call and will be ruled final.

INTERNET

1. Customers are responsible for all transactions when placing wagers on the Internet.

2. The customer is responsible for checking all of the wagers carefully, as no wagers placed on the Internet can be changed or cancelled.

3. All sporting events must play on the scheduled date unless otherwise specified. Any event postponed or rescheduled will automatically be graded "no action".

4. For wagering purposes, Cascade does not recognize protested or overturned decisions. The result of suspended events after they have started will be decided by the rules here.

5. Disputes must be lodged within seven (7) days from the date the wager in question has been decided. No claims will be honored after this period. The customer is solely responsible for their account transactions.

6. Each customer is wholly responsible for maintaining the secrecy of his or her betting account and should make every effort to prevent the use of the personal account number by any third party. Any transactions entered into where the account holder's number and password have been given to affect a wager shall stand as bona fide transactions dependent only upon the current balance in the account.

7. In the event a customer suspects a third party may have their client number and password, the customer may at any time ask that Cascade furnish the customer with a new client number and password.

8. Cascade shall not be responsible for any damages or losses deemed or alleged to have resulted from or been caused by this Web site or its content. This includes any person's use or misuse of its content, the inability of any person to connect with or use the site, delay in operations or transmission, failure of communication lines, or any errors or omissions in content.

Auto racing

Postponements

1. If a race or qualifier is postponed for any reason, all wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.

NASCAR and IndyCar Races

1. The Official NASCAR (or IndyCar) winner of the race shall be the winner of the race for wagering purposes; this includes all races which are halted prematurely for any reason.

2. In head-to-head matchups, both drivers must start the race in order for the wager to have "action".

3. If a starting driver who has completed at least one lap is replaced during the race by another driver for any reason, the starting driver will be awarded the finishing driver's position at the end of the race.
Example: Kevin Harvick starts the race, completes 8 laps, but leaves the racedue to injury, and then replacement driver Dave Blaney finishes the race and places ninth. In the race standings, Harvick would be credited with a ninth-place finish.

4. Disqualifications that occur more than 30 minutes after the race has ended are not recognized for wagering purposes.

Baseball

1. The result of a game is official after 5 full innings of play unless the home team is winning after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning, unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. All money will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.

2. In order for the Total Runs, Run Lines and Reverse Run Lines to have action, the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score is determined after the last full inning, unless the home team ties or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning. In this case, the winner will be determined by the score at the time that the game is called.

3. All Total Runs, Run Line and Reverse Run Line wagers will have no action if a pitching change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing the first pitch.

4. Money Line wagers may be placed as:

ACTION: Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. If there is a pitching change prior to the game, the odds will be adjusted to the opening price for the new pitcher.

BOTH LISTED PITCHERS: If both starting pitchers are not exactly as specified at the time the bet was made, the bet will be deemed no action. It is considered that a pitcher is a starter after throwing the first pitch to the opponent's first batter.

ONE LISTED PITCHER: This wager is on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other specified pitcher.

*** All wagers on Total Runs, Run Lines, Reverse Run Lines and First Five Innings are automatically specified as Both Pitchers Listed. ***

5. All wagers on First Five Innings will be determined by the score at the end of the first full five innings.

6. Only straight wagers are allowed on first five innings and reverse run lines.

7. All baseball props must go the full 9 (8.5 if the home team is winning) innings unless otherwise stated. The listed pitchers must also start.

8. Double header games are denoted as Game 1 or Game 2. The customer may list pitchers in a doubleheader, however, wagers are taken on games, not pitchers. If a scheduled pitcher does not go in his scheduled game of a doubleheader but in the other game, wagers are graded based on the Game, not on the pitcher.

9. For wagers on season wins, the team involved must play at least 160 regular-season games for there to be action on the season wins bet.

Basketball

1. NBA games must go at least 43 minutes to have action (unless specified). College and WNBA games must go at least 35 minutes.

2. All wagers on the game, the second half and propositions include overtime. Wagers on only the fourth quarters do not include overtime.

3. For wagering purposes, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided that the game has gone the minimum time. If a game is suspended after the minimum time has been played and is not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will determine the betting results.

4. If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be scored as 'no action' and all monies refunded.

5. All wagers on the game and all wagers on the second half will include overtime scoring. Wagers on fourth quarters do not include overtime scoring. For proposition wagers, unless stated otherwise, the second half includes overtime.

Boxing

1. When the bell sounds to begin the first round, the bout will be considered official for betting purposes, regardless of the scheduled length.

2. If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds the bout will last will be graded as 'No Action'.

3. Each round is three minutes in duration; a half-round is defined as 90 seconds.

4. For wagering purposes, the disqualification of a boxer during a match will be counted as a knockout by his opponent.

5. If the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on either fighter will be lost. If the wagering offer includes only the two boxers, with the draw either not offered or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, wagers on either fighter will be refunded.

6. Unless otherwise specified, matches must go within 30 days of the scheduled date for wagers to have action.

7. In situations not covered by the previous rules, the wagering decision announced by the Don Best Sports information service will be considered official and binding.

8. Las Vegas wagering rules will be used for any situation not covered herein.

Football

1. All games must go at least 55 minutes to have action (unless specified). Also, overtime counts for the final score unless specified.

2. All wagers on the game and the second half will include overtime. Wagers on fourth quarters do not include overtime.

3. All games must be played on the scheduled date and at the scheduled site to have action, unless otherwise noted before a contest.

3. The cost of buying half-points are as follows:

College football: All half-points cost 10 cents each.

NFL: All-half points cost 10 cents each, with the exception of buying on or off '3'. That costs an extra 25 cents (so minus-135 to buy on or off 3

4. Teaser payouts are as follows:

2-team, 6-point teaser: The customer must risk 110 to win 100.
2-team, 6.5-point teaser: The customer must risk 120 to win 100.
2-team, 7-point teaser: The customer must risk 130 to win 100.

In NFL and College Football, a two-team teaser resulting in Tie/Win or Tie/Tie is considered a push and all money is refunded. Any teaser with a loss and an open leg is a loss. In Arena Football, any teaser with a tie is considered a loss.

NFL Propositions will be graded using the results listed at www.NFL.com.

5. For the NFL regular season wins to have action, teams must complete all 16 regular season games.

6. The AFC and NFC winners are determined by the two teams advancing to the Super Bowl.

Golf

General Rules

1. If the start of a round is delayed, or if play during a round is suspended, all pending wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all pending wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.

2. Wagers on a golfer who does not play in the tournament are graded as "no action", and all money will be refunded.

3. A golfer is deemed to have played once he or she has teed off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off, wagers on that player will be lost.

4. Wagers will be settled using the official tournament and match results (including final match correct score and individual match betting). This includes a match which finishes early, either by agreement of the players or because of injury.

Odds-to-win-Tournament ... Over/Under finishing position

1. The "Field" includes all players not offered by name.

2. In the event that two or more golfers are tied for the lead at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff is normally used to determine the winner of the tournament. In this case, the winner of the playoff is the winner for betting purposes. All other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers.

3. If a tournament does not go the specified number of completed holes (usually 72) and is shortened by the tournament officials, the leader at the end of the number of holes specified by the officials will be the winner, unless there is no further play or only part of a round completed after a bet has been placed, in which case that bet will be canceled.

4. In the event of a tie for a finishing position, the tied position will count. For example, if five players tie for eighth place, all five will be considered to have finished eighth.

5. In some tournaments, tournament officials may have the individuals play a specified number of playoff holes to determine the tournament winner. In this case, the golfer with the lowest score after completing the specified number of holes will be declared the winner, and all other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers.

Golf Matchups

1. In head-to-head matchups, both golfers must tee off in order to have action.

2. Players are paired for betting purposes only. The player with the lower score over the entire tournament is the matchup winner.

3. The winner will be the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament. If the number of rounds played is reduced, as in the case of bad weather, wagers stand, providing that an official tournament winner is declared.

4. If one player misses the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut, the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine the winner.

5. If a player is disqualified or withdraws after starting, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. However, if a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when the other player in the match bet has already missed the cut, the disqualified player will be considered the winner.

Hockey

General Rules

1. All games must go at least 55 minutes to have action.

2. All events must be played on the scheduled date and at the scheduled site to have action, unless noted beforehand.

3. For NHL wagers, the game must play to completion. For grading purposes, all goals scored during regulation and overtime are counted, plus one goal for the winner of a shootout if it occurs. This holds true for all moneyline, total and puck-line wagers.

4. For "Period" wagers, the full 20 minutes of the period must be played to have action. Goals scored during overtime or a shootout are not counted for wagers on the third period.

5. Wagers on games or periods lasting under the minimum time for action constitute "no action", and will be refunded.

Grand Salami

1. The NHL Grand Salami will be decided by the total goals scored in all NHL games scheduled for that day.

2. All scheduled games must play to completion. If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before completion (3 full periods, and full overtime or shootout as necessary), all wagers on the NHL Grand Salami will be canceled.

3. Goals scored in overtime, plus any goals if there is a shootout, will be counted.

Horse Racing

1. To ensure the possibility of action in any horse race, Cascade requires our customers to call our call center customers AT LEAST THREE MINUTES BEFORE the specified race goes off to ensure action.

2. All Internet wagers must be placed AT LEAST TWO MINUTES before the horses leave the gate to assure action.

3. All horse bets will be subject to review.

3. Any bet that does NOT COME BEFORE THE OFF-TIME of the race will be graded as NO ACTION.

Example: The third race at Churchill Downs goes off at 3:55 p.m. Any bets accepted at 3:55 p.m. or after will be graded NO ACTION.

Soccer

1. Soccer kickoff dates and times displayed on our website are as indicated to us only and are NOT guaranteed to be correct. If it is unclear as to whether bets should stand or be refunded because of a postponement, Cascade will follow the consensus rulings of bookmakers in Europe.

2. Unless otherwise specified, all wagers on the outcome of a match will be decided on regulation time only. This includes two halves of play and any time the referee adds on to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time, nor penalty shootouts.

3. If a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed the same day, wagers on the outcome of the match are considered void and all stakes shall be returned.

4. Over/Unders: A match must reach full time for wagers on the total number of goals scored in the match to be valid.

Bets on teams to qualify or to advance to the next round of a competition:

1. Bets are paid out on the referee's final whistle at the match's natural conclusion, whether the match is decided in regular time, extra time, or in a penalty shootout. Extra time and penalty shootouts are always included for betting purposes.

2. In a one-leg match all bets have action once the match kicks off. If the referee abandons a one-leg match (for reasons including, but not limited to: crowd disturbances, lack of playability on the pitch, or one team not having enough players to continue) bets will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body. Bets will stand while the governing body considers the circumstances of the abandonment and determines what remedy is to be taken (including, but no limited to: forfeiture, resumption of play at a later time, or a replay). If a team is disqualified before the match kicks off, all bets are void. If the rules prescribe a replay for a drawn match, all bets stand for the replay.

3. In a two-leg match, all bets have action once the second leg kicks off, provided that the first leg has not been ruled a forfeit. If the first leg is ruled a forfeit, all bets on teams 'to qualify' or 'to advance' are void. If the second leg is abandoned, all bets remain valid and will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body.

Tennis

Head-to-head matchups:

1. Two full sets must be completed for wagers to stand. If less than two sets are completed, then all wagers will be considered void.

Example I: Federer leads 6-3, 4-6, 2-0 when Roddick retires due to injury. All wagers stand. Federer is declared the winner while Roddick is the loser.

Example II: Federer leads 6-3, 2-0 when Roddick retires due to injury. All wagers are considered void.

Delay or suspension:

1. If a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.

2. In the event a match does not go the specified number of sets, and the match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader determined to be official by tournament officials shall be the winner.

Example: A match is scheduled for five sets, but only three sets can be played because of weather and/or darkness. The leader at the end of three sets would be declared the winner of the match.

Change of Venue or Playing Surface:

1. If the venue or playing surface for a match is changed, the wagering odds for match bets will be adjusted. Match bets placed at the pre-adjustment odds are void. Futures or Ante post wagers will stand.
